Follow these steps to make video calls on your Android mobile device using the RingMD app.
Step 1: On the side menu, tap Sessions.
Step 2: Go to Scheduled tab and tap the session that you are about to start with your client.
Step 3: Tap Call.
Step 4: At this point, we will check if your internet connection is stable enough to support your call. Tap the green Proceed with video call banner at the bottom once it appears on your screen.
Note: If the green Proceed with video call banner fails to show, restart the application and try making the call again. Visit this article to learn how to close your Android mobile application. If you have a poor internet connection, you might want to connect to a different network or ensure that you have a strong Wi-Fi signal.
Step 5: When you are connected, start speaking with your client.
Explanation of the function of all the icons on the video call screen:
a. Switches the camera view
b. Enables you to send messages with your client during the call and view past messages
c. Enables/disables your microphone/
d. Enables/disables your video camera
e. Shows your client’s purchased but unscheduled sessions and your client’s health profile
f. If your client is using RingMD’s health band and has given permission to share the data with you, you will see your client’s personal fitness data
g. Opens up a box for you to type in notes that are only viewable by you
h. Ends the call
Note: You will not be able to re-enter the call once you end the call via (h). Clicking the end-call icon officially completes your session with the client.
Step 6: When you’re done with the call, click the end-call icon.
